Q. I’m a teenager do I need a student ID?
No. Teenagers between the ages of 13-18 can purchase student tickets without having student ID.
Q. Do I need to book online?
No. You can just show up at the bus stop and tickets can be purchased on board the bus. Cash and card are accepted on board.
Q. Can l pay with my debit card on the bus?
A. YES. We accept all types of card payments on board the bus.
Q. I purchased a ticket but didn’t make it to the bus stop, can l use it on the next service?
A. YES. Your ticket is valid for the same journey any time within 12 months of purchase.
Q. What ticket types do you offer?
A. We offer single journey tickets and return tickets and ten journey tickets.
Q. What are your fares?
A. We offer a number of different fares, full details of which can be found here.
Q. Can I bring my bicycle on board?.
Yes, West Cork Connect Takes Bicycles for FREE.
Q. Are seats allocated?
A. Seats are not individually allocated. You may sit anywhere on the coach provided the seat is free.
Q. Is the Travel Pass accepted on West Cork Connect?
A. We accept a valid Department of Social Welfare Travel Pass on all services.
Q. What forms of student identification do you accept?
A. We accept the ISIC Card and Student Travel Card. Teenagers 13-18 do NOT need to show student ID.
Q Are there child fares available?
A. All children under 12 travel for free. (When accompanied by a fare paying adult)
Q. I did not receive my ticket after booking online, what should I do?
A. If you booked and paid for a ticket online and have not yet received it, please check your Spam/Trash Folder. If this is unsuccessful please contact us on email@example.com and request to have your ticket resent.

Q. Can I eat/drink on board the bus?
A. Out of consideration for your fellow passengers, we would ask that you refrain from eating and drinking on the coach.
Q. Do you have toilet facilities on the bus?
A. We do not have toilet facilities on our coaches
Q. What is your policy on the use of e-cigarettes?
A. We do not permit the use of e-cigarettes on our coaches.
Q. Do you operate wheelchair accessible vehicles?
A. West Cork Connect does not have wheelchair accessible vehicles.
Q. Can I bring my pet on the bus?
A. With the exception of guide dogs, assistance dogs and therapy dogs, we do not allow animals on the bus.
Q. Can I bring my bicycle or pram on the bus?
A. There is space for bicycles/prams in the storage compartment underneath the bus.
Q. Where do I put my luggage?
A. Luggage other than hand luggage must be stored in the luggage compartment of the coach.
Q. Do you have a lost property section?
A. Yes, if you have left something behind on the coach please contact us by e-mailing firstname.lastname@example.org or calling us. Please specify the date and time you travelled and provide a description of the item you left behind. We cannot accept responsibility for any lost/stolen items.
Q. What are my rights as a passenger?
